This Privacy Policy explains how Sunbolt (the “App”) handles information. The App is developed and published by Busra Hekimoglu, an independent developer publishing as NoxTri (“we”, “us”). It applies to the App on iPhone.
Sunbolt collects no data. There is no account, no server, no network requests, no analytics, no crash reporting, no ads and no tracking. Your alarms, mornings, saved codes and objects stay on your iPhone, and the camera and motion data are processed on your iPhone too. Nothing reaches us. App Store privacy label: “Data Not Collected”.
1. Information we collect
We do not collect, sell or share any personal data. The App has no accounts and no sign-in, we run no server for it, and it makes no network requests, so nothing about your alarms, your mornings or how you use the App is sent to us or to anyone else. That is why its App Store privacy label is “Data Not Collected”.
2. Alarms
The App schedules your alarms with iOS through Apple’s AlarmKit framework, so they ring like the iPhone’s own clock: with the App closed, in Silent mode and in Focus. For this, iOS asks once for permission to schedule alarms. Your alarms are kept and rung by iOS on your iPhone; they never go to a server. You can turn the permission off at any time in iOS Settings › Apps › Sunbolt › Alarms; while it is off, Sunbolt alarms cannot ring.
3. Camera
The camera is used only for the Barcode / QR and My Object missions, when you use them. The image is processed on your iPhone by Apple’s VisionKit and Vision frameworks; it is not sent to Apple, to us or to anyone else.
- Barcode / QR: the camera reads the code in the live view. If you register a code in the Missions tab, only the code’s value and the name you give it are saved. The camera image is not saved.
- My Object: the 3 photos you take when you add an object are turned into numeric fingerprints (Vision “feature prints”) on your iPhone. The photos themselves are not saved; only those fingerprints and a small thumbnail shown in the list are kept. The photo you take during the mission is compared with the fingerprints on your iPhone and is not saved.
You can turn camera access off at any time in iOS Settings › Apps › Sunbolt; the Barcode / QR and My Object missions need it to work.
4. Motion & Fitness
The Steps mission counts your steps with Apple’s CoreMotion framework. The App reads steps only while a Steps mission is running, counting from the moment it starts, and stops when the mission ends. It does not read your step history or the Health app. If you turn Motion & Fitness access off, the Steps mission cannot count your steps and offers Switch to a Math mission instead.
5. Notifications
Notification permission is optional. The App asks for it only when you start the free trial of the Sunbolt Pro yearly plan, and uses it for one thing: a local reminder, scheduled on your iPhone, 24 hours before the trial ends. No notification server or push notifications are used.
6. Information stored on your device
The App keeps the following only on your device, in its own storage:
- your alarms: time, days, label, missions, difficulty, sound, snooze and backup alarm settings;
- your morning log: when the alarm rang, when you finished the mission, snoozes, wrong tries and whether you used emergency dismiss (your streak and Mornings stats are worked out from it);
- the value and name of the barcodes you save;
- the name, fingerprints and small thumbnail of the objects you save;
- your Settings › Appearance choice: System, Light or Dark.
To keep the Sunbolt widget up to date, after every change the App writes only the times and days of your upcoming alarms and your streak to a shared container on your iPhone that only Sunbolt and its own widget can open (an App Group). The widget only reads it from there; it sends and collects nothing itself. A widget you add to your Home Screen or Lock Screen shows your next alarm and your streak; Lock Screen widgets are visible while your iPhone is locked.
This data never leaves your device and we cannot access it. There is no iCloud sync. Deleting the App deletes all of it. If you back up your iPhone with iCloud Backup or to a computer, that backup may include your Sunbolt data; Apple or your computer keeps it under your own settings, and we have no access to it.
7. Good morning card and sharing
The Good morning card you see after a mission is an image made on your iPhone. It goes somewhere only if you tap Share, through the iOS share sheet, to the place you choose; what happens there is governed by that app’s or service’s own policy.
8. Siri and Shortcuts
Sunbolt offers two actions to Siri and the Shortcuts app. When you say “Set a Sunbolt alarm”, Siri asks for the time and Sunbolt sets a one-time alarm with a Math mission for it (or turns back on a one-time alarm you already have at that time). “Turn off tomorrow’s Sunbolt alarm” turns off the alarm that would ring next; it does not work while an alarm is ringing or its mission is open. Apple handles your voice request under Apple’s privacy policy. Sunbolt receives only the action and the time and carries it out on your iPhone; nothing reaches us.
9. Purchases
Sunbolt Pro is sold only through Apple’s in-app purchase system. Apple processes the payment, and we never see your payment details or your Apple ID. The App reads whether Pro is active from StoreKit on your iPhone; we run no server for your purchases. Restore purchases and Manage subscription are in Settings.
10. No analytics, ads or tracking
The App contains no analytics, crash reporting, advertising or tracking tools. It does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites, so it never asks for App Tracking Transparency permission. If you have chosen in iOS Settings to share analytics with app developers, Apple may pass anonymous crash reports to us under its own privacy policy; they do not contain your alarms, photos or codes.
11. Children
The App collects no data from anyone, including children.
12. Your rights
We hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete. You can delete your alarms, codes and objects at any time, one by one in the App or all at once by deleting the App. If you have questions about your rights under laws such as the GDPR or KVKK, contact us at the address below.
13. Changes to this policy
If the App changes in a way that affects your privacy, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date before that change is released.
