Delete in the app
- Open Podlog and go to Profile → Settings.
- In the Legal & support section, tap Delete account.
- Tap Delete my account, then confirm with Delete now.
Deletion happens immediately when you confirm and cannot be undone. There is no waiting period.
What is deleted
- your sign-in account, including your email address and any Apple or Google sign-in link;
- your profile: username, display name and bio;
- your diary: every log with its rating, like, review and spoiler flag;
- your lists, public and private, and everything in them;
- your Top 4;
- your follows, in both directions, and your blocks;
- your Listen later queue;
- reports: both the ones you filed about others and the ones others filed about your reviews or profile;
- your Terms acceptance record, which is stored with your account;
- your Sign in with Apple token; we also revoke Podlog’s access with Apple.
What is kept
- A non-identifying record that a deletion took place. It does not contain your user ID.
- Podcast and episode entries in Podlog’s catalogue. They describe public podcasts, not you, so they aren’t personal data.
- Copies in our hosting provider’s encrypted backups, for a short time until they are overwritten.
- Purchase records that Apple and RevenueCat keep under their own policies and legal obligations.
Subscriptions
Deleting your account does not cancel a Podlog Pro subscription. Cancel it first in your App Store account settings, or it will keep renewing.
If you can’t access the app
Email support@logventure.net from the email address of your Podlog account, with the subject “Account deletion request”. Include your username if you can.
We may ask you to confirm the request from that address. We then delete the account and the data listed above and reply to confirm, within 30 days at the latest. If you used Sign in with Apple with Hide My Email, mention it and include your username so we can verify the account another way.
Delete some data, keep your account
You don’t have to delete your account to remove data. In the app you can delete individual logs and lists, remove episodes from lists and from Listen later, change your Top 4, edit your display name and bio, and unfollow or unblock people at any time.
