This Privacy Policy explains how Decodia (the “Game”) handles information. The Game is developed and published by NoxTri (“we”, “us”). It applies to the Game on iOS, Android and the web.
Decodia needs no account and we do not collect, sell or share your personal data ourselves. Your progress stays on your device. From version 1.0.1 the mobile apps show ads from Google AdMob, which may use device identifiers to show and measure ads; personalized ads only with your consent. Buying “Remove ads” turns the ads off.
1. Information we collect
We do not collect personal information. The Game has no accounts, no sign-in and no chat, and it does not send your progress or settings to us.
2. Information stored on your device
To let you continue where you left off, the Game saves the following only on your device (or, for the web version, in your browser’s local storage):
- mission progress, best ranks, best times and hints used;
- your settings (language, sound, music and vibration);
- whether you bought “Remove ads”.
This data never leaves your device and we cannot access it. You can delete it at any time by uninstalling the app or clearing your browser’s site data.
3. Advertising in the mobile apps (Google AdMob)
The iOS and Android apps show ads served by Google AdMob: optional rewarded videos (watch an ad to get a further hint) and occasional full-screen ads between missions. To show, limit and measure ads and to prevent fraud, Google may collect and process information such as your device’s advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android), IP address and approximate location derived from it, device and app information, and how you interact with ads. Google acts under its own privacy policy: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
- Consent (EEA, UK, Switzerland): before ads are requested, the app shows Google’s consent form. You can change your choice any time in the app under PRIVACY → AD PRIVACY OPTIONS.
- iOS tracking: the app asks for permission (App Tracking Transparency) before the advertising identifier is used for tracking. If you decline, you still see ads, but they are not personalized using that identifier.
- Android: you can reset or delete your Advertising ID in your device’s Google settings.
- Ads are limited to content suitable for general audiences.
4. Purchases
“Remove ads” is a one-time purchase handled by the App Store or Google Play. We do not receive your payment details; the store tells the app only whether you own the purchase, so it can turn ads off and restore the purchase on a new device.
5. Device permissions
The mobile apps use vibration (for haptic feedback), audio playback and, for ads, network access and the advertising identifier described above. They do not access your microphone, camera, contacts, precise location, photos or files.
6. Web version and third-party platforms
The web version may be offered on third-party web game platforms. Those platforms may show advertising and may process data under their own privacy policies and terms, which we encourage you to read. We do not receive personal information about you from them.
7. Children
The Game is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and ads are limited to content suitable for general audiences.
8. Your rights
We hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete. For data processed by Google for advertising, use the consent options above or Google’s controls. If you have questions about your rights under laws such as the GDPR or KVKK, contact us at the address below.
9. Changes to this policy
If the Game changes in a way that affects your privacy, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date before that change is released.
